I’m excited that Spring seems to finally be imminent and decided to celebrate enduring a long, very cold winter with flowers! Florals are such a big trend this season, and we can find them everywhere, from cute tees to lovely dresses to fabulous accessories. For me, florals represent the new; nature’s way of announcing a season of birth and growth. And, they just make me happy! So, I’ve visited the shops of some of the more interesting pet fashion designers I’ve found, and brought you some choice picks to comprise spring’s bouquet. Let’s take a look.

Floral pet clothes/accessories

Floral Harness by
FooFooFido

I just love this floral harness by FooFooFido. Called the Janice Hippie Chic, it’s made with powder blue stretch denim, featuring the loveliest pink, mint and dandelion yellow daisies down the center back. The bold crochet flowers and floral design adds an interesting texture and color to the piece. Accent with pink beaded lace and crystal snaps, this harness demonstrates the trend with charm and originality.

Lovely neck accessory
from Gatinela

Gatinela is an interesting brand. Designer, Daniela, started designing when she got this gorgeous creature in the picture above, named Shinobii. She couldn’t find any collars she liked or that fit her as a kitten. So, she started making her own. She uses a velcro system with very light weight materials, so her designs don’t encumber the kitty, or pup. The one I’ve chosen to feature (although she has many designs and colors) is an eye-catching peachy pink cotton sateen, with a floral patterned flower and rosebud accent. However, pretty neck accessories aren’t the only thing Daniela designs. She makes lovely, great fitting dresses for Shinobii in a multitude of colors and patterns. Her desire is to have us admire our cats, as in the ancient Egyptian culture, when they were revered as gods.

Lilac Floral Dress
from Little Dog Fashion

This is another piece that caught my eye, and its designed by LittleDogFashion. I love the color combinations; how the violet and lilac with flashes of robin’s egg blue burst forth from the mustard yellow background. The addition of a violet rick rack trim and white Venise lace accents the pattern beautifully. This double layered cotton dress and its riot of flowers has spring celebration written all over.

The Modern Floral Harness
by RockinDogs

Designed by RockinDogs&CoolCats, I love the fabric colors and pattern of this print harness, and the black and white harlequin ribbon that trims the waistline. The combination of both makes this a statement piece for me. Made from a cotton blend, secured with velcro and with a strong nylon webbing underneath, this is form meets function and it looks great! It does have a clean, modern edge, but there’s a bit of retro there for me, too. I’m thinking early 70’s. I don’t know about you, but I loved the fashion sensibilities during that period, so maybe that’s why I am drawn to this piece, as well. A stand-out.

Lime Green Embellished
Collar by LuxeMutts

I’ll leave you with this beautiful LuxeMutts lime-colored leather collar. This fabu statement piece is embellished with over 200 Swarovski Elements crystals, that sit just above your pup’s fur line for the maximum effect. It’s name?  The Rosalicious, and with good cause! The collar is made from high quality, soft leather with crisp, black top-stitching; the flower is permanently attached. Loving this!

That was fun! Just scouting through these beautiful florals has put a smile on my face. Are you a florals fan? What’s your favorite piece?
