It’s December and the holiday season is in full swing.

The Sun dances through merry Sagittarius, its ruler Jupiter steps into serious, structured Capricorn for a 12-month stay. Jupiter-related activities such as travel or study have a practical or business-oriented purpose.

But Mercury say, “Not so fast,” when it enters Sagittarius on the 9th to remind you that all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy (or Jane a dull girl). Mercury is the planet of thinking and communication. In Sagittarius, it sees the glass as half full. Take advantage of the optimism to promote your products, services, and especially yourself. You’ll hit a home run if you emphasize practicality and value.

Mixed messages ensue mid-month. Venus meets up with Saturn, then Pluto on the 11th and 13th respectively. With responsibility comes power. You’ll be held to your commitments so make them sparingly. Meanwhile with Mars opposing Neptune it’s hard to know the best action to take.

Your spirit rises when Jupiter trines Uranus on the 15th.  Endless possibility is yours once you liberate your thinking. Venus and the Sun reinforce that message when they create the same aspect to Uranus just before Christmas.

The Winter Solstice arrives on December 21st. The shortest day of the year carries the promise light’s return and longer days to come.

It’s the Solar Eclipse just the day after Christmas that kicks the door open into the next decade. If you have planets or sensitive points at or near 4° Capricorn, you’ll be leading the way.

With 8 planets tightly concentrated within a thin silver of the horoscope circle, energy is focused and intense. How will you wield such high voltage? Step back, reflect and set your intention. Determine what counts and what you’d like to achieve. Then plan how you intend to get there.
