March 20 to April 19, 2020 – The Time of Aries

Energy and confidence are high when the Sun enters Aries at 11:50 pm Eastern on March 19th. This is the Spring Equinox that always heralds this new season. Then in quick succession Mars meets up with Jupiter on the 20th, then hands over Jupiter’s optimism to the planet of transformation on the 23rd. The Universe provides and you feel as if there is nothing you can’t take on.

Saturn enters Aquarius on the 21st followed by Mars on the 30th. Then a new moon cycle begins on the 24th. These are transits that pull us into a future that is not quite here yet. Look carefully and in earth’s return to the light you will see the whispers of what’s to come.

In this year of sharp swings, April begins on an up note. Saturn and Mars have just stepped into forward-looking Aquarius. The focus is on future’s potential. With Sun in Aries we want it sooner than later.

Adding to the heady atmosphere is the meeting of Jupiter and Pluto on the 5th. The planet of wealth meeting the planet of luck is a winning combination for investments and business. Because of some retrograde slow dancing this dynamic duo will contact each other two more times this year—and extend their protection for the duration of the year.

This is particularly good news because in the view of many astrologers and economists there are astrological and economic storm clouds on the horizon. But Jupiter will keep them at bay during 2020. Nonetheless, it’s prudent to resist the temptation to overextend yourself financially.

Venus steps into Gemini on the 4th. It’s going to be hanging out there for a while as it slows to begin its retrograde journey next month. Normally Venus moves through a sign in about a month, but in 2020, it spends four months there. The Universe wants you to re-evaluate your connections with others in the light of clear thinking. Venus in Gemini reminds you that relationships with others are shaped by your head. What thoughts do you create? What words are you using to describe them?
